Emergency Preparedness

The Salt Lake County Health Department Emergency Preparedness Bureau works to plan for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate natural and manmade emergencies and disasters that could impact public or environmental health. We work in close coordination with Salt Lake County Emergency Management.

Our goal in a health emergency or disaster is to do the most good for the most people in the shortest amount of time, and we regularly prepare and practice our response.
