My County Rec Pass

Thanks to the support of Mayor Wilson, Salt Lake County Council, and the Tourism, Recreation, Culture, and Convention program, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation is piloting the My County Rec Pass for youth in 2024.

The My County Rec Pass offers free access to amenities for school children 5-18. 

Fill out and bring the My County Rec Pass application to participating centers.

Salt Lake County residents, ages 5-18

Free membership/pass to access and use Salt Lake County operated recreation centers and amenities*, including:

  • Open plunge at 18 swimming pools
  • Public skate at 3 ice centers
  • Supervised climb time at 2 climbing walls
  • Open gymnasium time
  • Weight rooms
  • Fitness areas
  • walking tracks
*age restrictions apply. Kearns, Millcreek Activity, and Sports office unavailable to My County Rec passes.

  • Registration opens: April 1, 2024
  • Card activates: June 1, 2024

  • Parents/guardians may sign up their 5–18 year old(s) at a Salt Lake
  • County operated recreation center. 
  • Both child and guardian must register in person
  • Parent/guardian must bring ID or proof of Salt Lake County residency.

*Youth who are 9 years old and under must be accompanied by someone 14 years of age or older at all times. Other age restrictions may apply. All patrons must comply with the Patron Standards of Conduct.
