Salt Lake County Adaptive Recreation has a commitment to providing transportation as a part of certain programs, in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires recipients of federal funds to take reasonable steps to make their programs, services, and activities accessible by eligible persons. To that end, we have embraced the Wasatch Front Regional Council’s Title VI transportation plan to guide us.
The County has adopted an internal grievance procedure providing for the prompt and equitable resolution of grievances. Policy 1315 explains our process for addressing concerns.
