Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum

Located in the Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City, Discovery Gateway offers 60,000 square feet of interactive, hands-on fun. Come explore our engaging workshops, programs, and exhibits that invite the whole family to create, learn and play together.

Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation is “Improving Lives Through People, Parks and Play.” It operates and maintains parks, trails and open space, golf courses, recreation centers, swimming pools, ice centers, and Wheeler Historic Farm.

Zoo, Arts and Parks

Since 1997, the ZAP Program has provided funding that enables growth and development of cultural, artistic, zoological, botanical, and recreational opportunities within the County.
